Well, I gotta say, I enjoyed that little trip. Not looking forward to catching up with things here, but--well, what can you do? I'm sure I'll manage. Somehow. I've already heard from a certain someone that I didn't miss much excitement, anyway.
Either way, it was great having a chance to stretch my legs. I think I got the wanderlust is all out of my system, at least for now, so I should be good for another couple of months. Heh. Look what you kids are doing to me--I'm practically settling down here. For shame. |

...You know, I spent the whole day thinking it was Thursday and only realized it's not a couple of minutes ago. Damn. That is a pretty depressing revelation, I have to say.

nine days. i think counting down is making them run longer, but i can't resist.
...i just realized i still haven't figured out how to work the voice command on this thing, even though i'm sure it's way more convenient than having only one hand to type with. i said i was going to try, but i guess it turns out i'm just no good with these damn machines. it doesn't seem like there's much point in even trying now... |

...I realize I drank a little too much last night, but uh. I don't think it was enough for me to wind up on land somewhere with no memory of my ship being docked.

damn. you know, i was starting to get used to those paper journals. they'd be a lot easier for me to use right now, actually, since it's easier to talk with one hand than to type that way. i guess now would be a good time to see if i can figure out how to use the voice command on this thing...
eh, well... i guess i'll just have to learn to make do either way. this injury's not going away any time soon, after all. i'm just glad it's my left arm instead of my right. |
